Totalitarian Regime in China purposely distorts the history
In contemporary China, the most awkward thing that one experiences might be: whatever information you receive, they are under systematic monitoring and intentional distortion. In the openly disseminated information, almost all information one receives is a censored "good news". With the development of the information technology, it is more and more difficult to censor or to tamper with news, however, the skills of the "Powerful class" is also continuing to improve.

Why so? This is not the problem of moral hazard. This kind of phenomenon appears almost in every Marxist or totalitarian regime, with its built-in inevitability: the control of information flow is a necessary step to maintain the totalitarian rule.

In the case of China, although no one declaims, everyone knows tacitly that the sovran purposely censors/monitors the past history, which is just like what the famous historian Mr. Hu Shi said: History is a little girl to be dressed as one wishes. For example, from the open media, it is almost impossible to find any fair interpretation to great historical events after 1949 when PR China was founded, while all the materials have the same premise: The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is always correct and whatever disasters are just "errors" or "mistakes" in the march to the victory. -- However, once if we compare different events under a unique measuring standard, we may draw different conclusions rather than official ones.

The CCP autocracy masks the mind of ordinary people in the short term and results in the narrow-mindedness and intellectual rigidity of the ruling class. In short, the Communist Party desires to monitor and reshape the true history in people's minds, which, however, in the long run, will cause the splitting up of the whole social classes. It is far from enough to maintain the social harmony by superficial slogans and random tricks. If the Party continues to shield the whole society from exploring the true history, there will be no serious recollection to the past, then how can our nation carry forward the tradition and better our development? There is an old saying: to forget the past means betrayal. Thus is it a conscious betrayal to falsify the history purposely?
