LOL NEWS//Shameless Chinese Bureaucrat Credited Skater's Success to "China's Strength"

Li Jianrou steered clear of a three-skater pile-up to sprint to gold in the women's 500m short track at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Officials ruled that Britain's Elise Christie caused the crash, and she was disqualified minutes after the race.

After winning the gold medal, Li Jianrou said mildly herself: "I always believe in myself. I'm lucky to get this gold medal." Some netizens made jokes that she got this gold medal because of "great Sino-Britain friendship".

Ridiculously, yet as expected, when Xiao Tian, a bureaucrat of China's General Administration of Sport was interviewed about Li's gold medal, he said: "Li got rewarded by her diligence, and her luck should be credited to China's strength."

Well, this is not the first time to hear bureaucrats to credit others' success to China's strength, which is another name, as known to all Chinese, of so-called brilliant leadership of the bureau. This disgusting self-flattering even appear in some non-governmental-financing sport like women's tennis.

This is not the tragedy only for China's sport.
