There are still 9 independent writers in jail as in the picture above: Tan Zuoren, Kunchok Tsephel Gopey Tsang, Liu Xiaobo, Kunga Tseyang (AKA Snow Sun), Liu Xianbin, Gheyret Niyaz, Guo Quan, Mehbube Ablesh, Zhu Yufu.
They are all in jail because of their criticism to the Communist Party.
