Government covered highway signs to prevent people from going to Ning Bo

Image
Local government of Ning Bo covered some highway signs, trying to prevent people from going to Ning Bo to take part in the protest against PX the chemical factory project. What a stupid government! They do not know we still have GPS?

China: government ready to use military weapon to repress the protest

Image
Some people took the picture demonstrating that the local government of Ning Bo had been prepared to use military weapon to repress the protest against PX project in Ning Bo. The protests against PX project have appeared in Xia Men and Da Lian before.

Beijing Tightened Internet Blockade

Image
Goagent: The 18th CPC National Congress is coming, which was scheduled for the coming November 8th and many big issues would be discussed at that time such as amending Party Constitution and electing the next group of 7  leaders. The governmental internet bureau then tightened the internet blockade, and lots of netizens who use goagent (a GAE-based proxy) found themselves banned from the internet overseas. However, soon solutions were given through the internet (to change proxy server from mainland to Hong Kong).

"Shut-up": literally meaning of the name of the 2012 winner of Nobel Prize in Literature

Image
Chinese writer Mo Yan won 2012 Nobel Prize in Literature. Ironically, his pen-name "Mo Yan" literally means "Don't say" "No Speaking" "Stop talking" or "Shut-up". This might be the ironical reality of China: No one could be free to talk. Some Chinese netizens drew the cartoons about Mo Yan's prize-winning:

China: Talk-show actor awarded to be a major general

Image
Chang Guitian, a Chinese talk-show (aka. Xiangsheng ) actor was awarded the rank of major general. This is the ridiculous reality of Chinese army: a singer could be a general like Song Zuying the mistress of Jiang Zemin, a talk-show actor could be a general. But can these generals lead the army in battlefields? Deeply doubt it. So, do not be afraid of Chinese army, they are weak and vulnerable.

Comparison: Corrupting Chinese Bureaucrat

Image
There is a good comparison in the picture: The upper half was about Zhao Ziyang, the late leader of the Communist Party of China. He, with other party leaders, held the umbrella himself. The lower half was about some lower bureaucrats of the CPC, and they had some servant girls to hold the umbrellas for them. This is the reality of China: the bureaucrats are corrupting under one-party dictatorship.

China: 9 independent writers still in jail

Image
There are still 9 independent writers in jail as in the picture above: Tan Zuoren, Kunchok Tsephel Gopey Tsang, Liu Xiaobo, Kunga Tseyang (AKA Snow Sun ), Liu Xianbin, Gheyret Niyaz, Guo Quan, Mehbube Ablesh, Zhu Yufu. They are all in jail because of their criticism to the Communist Party.

Everyone in China forced to be a Tankman

Image
Everyone in China will be forced to be a Tankman if the Communist Party continues their domination.

How Chairman Mao Zedong pooed?

Image
During war years, Chairman Mao Zedong liked to poo out in the field, and his security guard with a shovel would stand by, because Mao once said: the smelly toilet odor would cause dizziness, told by Li Yinqiao Mao's personal guard. This sculpture vividly reproduced this situation.

Comparison: Labor Camp vs. Auschwitz

Image
Here is the comparison of Chinese labor camp (for those illegally-jailed prisoners) and Auschwitz. The upper half was a woman who had been jailed in a Chinese labor camp for one year. The lower half was a woman who had just been rescued from Auschwitz. The similarity of the two photos demonstrated the cruelty of Chinese labor camp.

Local government uses sheep statues to fake real ones in disappearing grasslands

Image
The local government has placed lots of sheep statues in the disappearing grasslands to fake real ones in covering the pollution issues, photoed by Lu Guang, from The Bund . This photo was taken in Huolingguole, northern part of Horqin grassland, Inner Mongolia. Huolingguole is a city with industries like coal mining, power generation and chemical-industry. Pollution has become a big issue and it is hard to see the green grass and white sheep. And now the smart government found the idea to cover the pollution issue.

2012 Nobel Prize in Literature Winner Mo Yan's Works was Banned in China, 2002

Image
In 2002, when the Workers Press of China planned to publish the revised version of " Big Boobies, Big Butt " by Mo Yan, winner of 2012 Nobel Prize in Literature, The General Administration of Press and Publication thought there were serious problems inside, and banned the publish of the book. The Press had to submit a written apology and Wang Xiaoping the deputy editor had to be retired in advance. What a record for China: it banned the works of its own Nobel Prize winner. And this was not the first time it banned good books.

Investigation of CCTV: Are you happy?

Image
I think this is the real scene when CCTV interviews some random  passengers about whether they are happy. The interview of "Are You Happy" is a government-led news program on showing the audience how happy the Chinese are.

Black humor: the well-known liar "Global Times" published books named "Truth-speaking China"

Image
The Global Times , the famous liar, published books named "A Truth-speaking China", which was the best black humor for the Chinese media. As the voice of the Communist Party of China, the Global Times  is the typical official media in China , and it is only responsible for Communist Party's propaganda. It is a media of propaganda, not a news agency. So it is a liar, it needs to lie because of the Communist Party's demands. Like it needs to fool the Mainland public that some foreign countries like the USA are all enemies . Now the Global Times published the books named "A Truth-Speaking China", this is a very black humor, but it is the very phenomenon in the present China. Disclosed by He Qinglian in the article of " The “ Double-faced characteristic” of Global Times and Huanqiu Shibao ", there is big difference between the Chinese version of the Global Times and the English version of the Global Times. The Chinese version always talks about ...

Yoshihiko Noda, you made One big mistake while

Image
Yoshihiko Noda, the prime minister of Japan, updated his official blog (in Japanese) about Diaoyu islands/Senkaku islands dispute against China. With the aid of Google translate, I knew that Mr. Yoshihiko felt "sorry" about the dispute between China and Japan. Also, he required Chinese people to self-examine their personality to avoid violence abuse. My point is: Mr. Yoshihiko Noda, you've made one big mistake on dealing with Chinese government. You don't really understand what the Communist Party wants. They actually do Not want the islands, they want their being respected facially. So what you should give them? You should give them facial respect, and nothing else. So you have made one big mistake Mr. Yoshihiko Noda since you don't really understand the Communist Party: you mistaked the Communist Party's needs and mistaked they also wanted the islands, No, all their public speech about the territory was just a have-to declaration. They actually d...

Chinese Aircraft Carrier "Liaoning" was actually a night club ship

Image
Yeah, you are right, this is the very Chinese Aircraft Carrier named "Liaoning". In the past National Day, Chinese navy decorated the ship with so many lights, and made it a Night Club Ship. I think this is the very point for Chinese Aircraft Carrier: it is for entertainment, not for military.

Some Chinese cost their freedom for temporary profit

Image
This picture depicted some Chinese vividly. They cost their lives and their possible freedom opportunities, just for temporary profit. They do not know they live in a prison built by the Communist Party, and they do not try to break the prison, but try to make their own profit just for themselves. They have sold theirselves to CPC.
