Jay Leno, the host of NBC's popular The Tonight Show with Jay Leno recently joked about recent reports of dead pigs being left to float in China's rivers.
China's dead pigs are making a name for themselves overseas.
Some four minutes into the video, Leno says:
"It seems the number of dead pigs found floating in a river in Shanghai has risen to over 13,000. Officials suspect they ended up in the river because farmers upstream are throwing pigs they thought had died of disease into the water. Either that, or someone was playing the world's largest game of Angry Birds."
"But what I love is this. Chinese officials said the dead pigs won't affect the quality of drinking water in the river," he continued.
"How bad is your drinking water if 13,000 dead rotting pigs don't affect it?" he added.
The video went viral on China's social media, where netizens applauded Leno's humor.
"Is Jay Leno going to be banned by the party now?" wrote one blogger.
