Media in China is not trustful

In general, the media in China, especially those official media like People Daily and CCTV, is not trustful. Because the media in China is not a news agency, but a propaganda agency. They are responsible for advertising the Communist Party's policy, rather than reporting news around.

Since the media is the voice of China Communist Party, their reporting unavoidably would be censored carefully and those harmful information would be filtered out. You can only learn from the media the praise to the party in power, with some superficial criticism. Can you trust such media would reflect real society? No, surely not.

Well, there are also some media which are trustful, which distributed mainly in the south, far away from Beijing the political center. Nanfang media is one of the representatives. However, they have to face great pressure.
