The men who ripped off the flag would be sentenced to death if his target were China's counterpart

A few days ago, last monday I think, a car carrying Japanese ambassador was attacked by a man who ripped off the Japanese flag from the vehicle. Surely the incident was related to the dispute over the islands, known as Senkaku in Japan and Diaoyu in China, which are claimed by China, Taiwan and Japan. The guy who attacked the Japanese ambassador, who proved to be pro-China, may think it necessary to express his patriotism passion by such a way.

Today I read the news that the Beijing Public Security Bureau indicated it has decided to hold the two suspects who ripped off the flag in jail for five days but won't seek criminal prosecution, citing the minor nature of the offense, proved by Japanese Embassy officials.

Japanese may find it very unsatisfied and think the Chinese government was too nice for the two men. Oh come on, Japanese, do you know how nice the Chinese communist party to you? If the two men were to rip off the flag of any car of some Chinese high officials like the head of a government department, he would be sentenced to death, I assure you! So you can see, the Chinese government was much more nice to you than to her own citizens. As for the same behavior, one citizen may be sentence to death if his target is Chinese official, but he would only have to stay in jail for no more than 5 days if his target is Japanese official! So, see how nice the Chinese government treat you foreigners!
