Portrait of Chinese "Voluntary 50-cent Army"

50-cent army: the netizens who are supposedly paid 50 cents (for every comment) to post favorable comments online about the government. In China, it is believed that the government and some big companies hire a huge 50-cent army to clean the internet.

Yet, there are still some netizens who voluntarily defend the government because they believe patriotism is to love the government, and these people are called Zi Gan Wu, or Voluntary 50-cent Army.
