Local government uses sheep statues to fake real ones in disappearing grasslands

The local government has placed lots of sheep statues in the disappearing grasslands to fake real ones in covering the pollution issues, photoed by Lu Guang, from The Bund.

This photo was taken in Huolingguole, northern part of Horqin grassland, Inner Mongolia. Huolingguole is a city with industries like coal mining, power generation and chemical-industry. Pollution has become a big issue and it is hard to see the green grass and white sheep. And now the smart government found the idea to cover the pollution issue.
