Chang Guitian, a Chinese talk-show (aka. Xiangsheng) actor was awarded the rank of major general. This is the ridiculous reality of Chinese army: a singer could be a general like Song Zuying the mistress of Jiang Zemin, a talk-show actor could be a general. But can these generals lead the army in battlefields? Deeply doubt it.
So, do not be afraid of Chinese army, they are weak and vulnerable.
